This is a 5-week maintenance training block. This block is meant to maintain athletic and strength qualities that have been built from previous hard training. While maintaining qualities, this block also attempts to use very low training volume and low stress to reduce fatigue and prepare the system for future hard training.
This is a perfect training block for anyone who has previously pushed themselves really hard and needs to back-off without losing their fitness levels. Running, jumping, throwing medicine balls, and lifting weights is featured in this training block.
